Health resort Galtür : climatic spa in Tyrol

It was officially confirmed on 22.April 1997: Galtür is the first recognised health resort in Tyrol. Those who have a pollen allergy can relax and fill their lungs with the healthy mountain air.

Galtür is proud of its title as a health resort; it officially confirms what every one already knew: The air is particularly good, up here. For over five years measurements recording values for air, traffic and pollutants were taken and numerous surveys were made by experts and specialists. But it doesn’t end there, recordings of all relevant data for wind, weather and pollutants will continue to be made and passed on, via modem, to the central office in Vienna.
